State House, Banjul, 23rd December 2025: The Office of the President hereby informs the public that His Excellency President Adama Barrow has declared Thursday 25th December and Friday 26th December 2025 respectively being Christmas and Boxing Day, as public holidays throughout The Gambia.

Additionally, Thursday 1st January 2026 has also been declared as a public holiday as part of the New Year celebrations.

On behalf of the President and the First Family, the Office of the President wishes everyone a joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
