We are here today to honour a journey of courage, self-belief, and commitment to our motherland. The event is occasioned by a significant milestone for Global Properties, in particular, and, by extension, a landmark achievement for the country as a whole.

This inaugural ceremony is a powerful reminder of what Gambians, individually as patriots and collectively as a nation, can achieve if we are bold enough and match our noble plans with an equally strong determination to excel.

The story behind this new Head Office is not about insufficient resources or other constraining development factors that prevent people from searching for solutions to our challenges. Instead, it is about pursuing a clearly defined vision that rests on moral courage and passionately remaining focused on one’s goals.

For nineteen years (19), Global Properties Limited has walked a path defined by unquestionable resilience and foresight. Thus, what began as a modest enterprise has evolved into one of the most respectable and influential institutions in our real estate sector.

The opening ceremony of this magnificent Head Office illustrates the company’s physical transition from one of tenancy to proprietorship. It also highlights the company’s structural growth from its humble beginnings of uncertainty to its celebrated success, stability, and attainment of its long term vision.

This new chapter in their remarkable story sums it up. It is a deeply instructive achievement that reflects the spirit of a nation’s growing, yet robust, private sector. You will agree with me when I say that Global Properties’ rise to success exposes the hidden talent and affirms the unshakable determination of Gambians who believe in infrastructure development, not just for themselves, but for generations to come.

It is no secret that at the heart of this success story is the Managing Director and CEO of Global Properties Limited, Mr Saul Frazer - a man whose dedication to work has touched countless lives.

For over nearly two decades, Mr. Frazer has been contributing tremendously to national development. His efforts have supported infrastructure expansion, promoted affordable housing, and enabled thousands of Gambians to acquire land and secure homes for their families.

Mr. Frazer’s work has in no moderate way helped shape communities, strengthen infrastructure, create jobs, and open doors for thousands of Gambians to own land and secure a home.

From affordable housing to high end development projects, Global Properties has set standards that have elevated the entire real estate sector.

Additionally, the company has strengthened its portfolio and set new benchmarks for competence, transparency, and quality within the real estate industry.

The company has shown that excellence is not foreign to us and that we can cultivate and sustain it. Furthermore, it has shown that patriotism is not only expressed in words but also manifested in service, in wise investment endeavours, and in the belief that The Gambia deserves the very best of outcomes to compete at the global stage.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

To sum it up, the success of Global Properties is another reflection of what Gambian entrepreneurship can achieve when guided by discipline, integrity, and a commitment to national progress.
